If a tech pro sits behind the same desk all day, every day for 10 hours a day, they aren’t reading up on their field. They aren’t having conversations with other tech pros. And they aren’t engaging in non-work-related activities that promote idea generation. When people are allowed to disengage from work and feed their minds in other ways, they are better equipped to solve complex problems creatively.
